SIGH! He's done it again! On May 3rd 2016, Karl Lagerfeld, the creative director of Chanel made history with their Cruise 2017 fashion show. The fashion genius is the master of thinking outside the box and pushing the envelope. This was the 1st major runway show held in Cuba.

The most coveted models like Gisele Bunchen and fashion media were amongst the crowd.

Chanel chartered 200 vibrant colored vintage cars to transport guests to Havana's historical Paseo del Prado where the show was staged. The open air catwalk ran along the length of the Paseo del Prado, surrounded by pastel-colored colonial mansions.
Both male and female models were muy caleinte as they strutted down the "runway," steaming up the show with cuban cigars and donning Panama hats. Vibrant colors made their mark, white maxi dresses, and 2.5 bags in candy shades were a highlight.
For the grand finale local Cubans joined the celebration in the streets of Havana as the Chanel model army partied down the promenade leaving Karl literally dancing in the streets. Video below!
